Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zum Bestimmen des Ansprechvermögens eines Individuums mit einer psychotischen Störung auf eine Behandlung mit Iloperidon, das umfasst:
    (a) Bestimmen der Identität eines Nukleotids an der polymorphen Stelle bei CNTF 103 G > A in der GenBank-Sequenz Referenznr. X55890 (Version 1) für die beiden Kopien des im Individuum vorhandenen CNTF-Gens; und
    (b) Zuweisen des Individuums zu einer guten Ansprechendengruppe, wenn die Nukleotide an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A in beiden Kopien des CNTF-Gens G sind,
    wobei das Verfahren ex vivo durchgeführt wird.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Bestimmungsschritt (a) ferner die Verwendung eines Kits für die Identifikation eines Polymorphismusmusters eines Patienten an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A umfasst, wobei der Kit eine Einrichtung zum Bestimmen des genetischen Polymorphismusmusters an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A umfasst.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Ausrüstung ferner eine DNA-Proben-Sammeleinrichtung umfasst.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, wobei die Einrichtung zum Bestimmen des genetischen Polymorphismusmusters an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A mindestens ein CNTF-Genotypisierungsoligonukleotid umfasst.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Einrichtung zum Bestimmen des genetischen Polymorphismusmusters an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A zwei CNTF-Genotypisierungsoligonukleotide umfasst.
  6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5, wobei die Einrichtung zum Bestimmen des genetischen Polymorphismusmusters an der polymorphen CNTF-Stelle bei 103 G > A mindestens eine CNTF-Genotypisierungsprimer-Zusammensetzung mit mindestens einem CNTF-Genotypisierungsoligonukleotid umfasst.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die CNTF-Genotypisierungsprimer-Zusammensetzung mindestens zwei Sätze von Allel-spezifischen Primerpaaren umfasst.
  8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, wobei die zwei CNTF-Genotypisierungsoligonukleotide in separaten Behältern verpackt sind.
