Abstract

The conveyor comprises trucks on a track which may be moved by means of adjustable target codes from one station (A, B) along tracks (61, 62, 81, 82) via points (41, 42, 101, 102) to another station (A, B). Receivers (121, 122) with target code readers (14) are allocated to the points for their direct control. Such a known conveyor may subsequently be fitted with a monitoring installation having an individual identification code for each of the trucks (1). Along the stations (A, B) and the line sections are arranged receivers (121, 122, 123) with a reader (14) for the target codes and a reader (16) for the identification codes. The receivers are connected to a central computer (22) which assesses the target and identification codes received.
