Abstract

The modular satellite set has at least 2 satellite modules (1,2) provided with communication devices (7,8) for exchange of data and/or transmission of signals for joint operation of transmission and reception devices (5,5a,5b,9,9a,9b) within the satellite modules, for communication between the satellite set and communication subscribers and/or a ground station. The transmission and reception devices within the satellite modules are autonomous, to allow independent exchange of a satellite module.
