Abstract

The invention refers to a method of positioning where the vehicle or vessel using it will not need to receive data from land stations or satellites but will be able to continuously position itself accurately.This method is characterised by that it uses three controlled gyroscopes with special sensors as well as a gyroscopic compass.The indications of the three controlled gyroscopes in conjuction with the indication of the gyroscopic compass is processed by a special computer software for determining the positioning signal required.The use of the invention is intended for vehicles and vessels which need to be autonomous, such as warships.
