Abstract
The air enters the lavatory-pan through the existing water orifices, and gets out from a ramified pipe interposed between the water tank and the lavatory-pan. It is a particularly efficient and economical system liable to be set in position without prior modification of the lavatory-pan or the water tank. It can also be readily incorporated to almost any sanitary fixtures, without altering the general appearance of the whole structure as this last is entirely positioned into the water tank. The ventilating system in question has been tested and proved to be extremely eficient.
