Abstract
The plastic pipe punch consists of a main plastic body (1) divided into two sections, in which the pipe to be punched is enclosed. On the outside the body (1) is reinforced and closed by a moving metal cover (14), also shown is a distance indicator (8), a punch (5) with internal cleaning pin (7) and a moving handle (4) on which the punch is attached (5). The distance indicator (8) driven by a spring (2) is in constant contact with the pipe via the gear wheel (9), which, by rotating, drives a scored disc (11), using a screw (10) gear (13) system, providing the operator with indications of the distance the machine covers on the pipe. Thus, at the desired distance, by lowering the handle (4), the punch (5) opens the hole and when returning to its initial position with the help of the spring (3) the cleaning pin (7) removes any chips that have adhered on it.
