Abstract

έθοδος δια την αναστολήν της διαβρώσεως σιδηρούχων μετάλλων εντός συστημάτων καθάρσεως αερίων ένθα διοξείδιον άνθρακος διαλύεται εκλεκτικώς εντός αλκαλιρρυμάτων, οίον υδατικά διαλύματα ανθρακικού καλίου, βορικού καλίου, μονοαιθανολαμίνης, διαιθανολαμίνης ή μιγμάτων αυτών, περιλαμβάνουσα τα στάδια της προσθήκης ενός ανασταλτικού μεταλλικού άλατος εντός των διαλυμάτων εις ποσότητας μικράς εν σχέσειπρος την αλκαλικήν ουσίαν, και της κατά την διάρκειαν της εργασίας του συστήματος, είτε συνεχώς είτε εκ διαλειμμάτων, προσθήκης ενός οξειδωτικού υλικού προς διατήρησιν του ανασταλτικού μεταλλικού άλατος εις κατάστασιν να εκτελή την αρχικήν αυτού λειτουργίαν αντιστάσεως εις την διάβρωσιν.
