Abstract

Πρόκειται για ένα οικοσύστημα προετοιμασίας και διανομής φαρμακευτικών αγωγών για χρήση σε δομές υγείας όπως γηροκομεία, ψυχιατρεία και καταστήματα κράτησης, που στόχο έχει την αυτοποίηση της διαδικασίας, τη μείωση του απαιτούμενου χρόνου των απαιτούμενων διεργασιών, τον έλεγχο ροής των φαρμάκων και την αποφυγή των σφαλμάτων ως απόρροια ανθρώπινου λάθους/αστοχίας στην ταυτοποίηση ασθενούς. Συγκεκριμένα το οικοσύστημα αποτελείται από έναν αυτοματοποιημένο και ταχύ κονιορτοποιητή φαρμάκων, μια συσκευή διανομής φαρμάκων φέρουσα διακόσιες δεκαέξι (216) κυψέλες φαρμάκων με σύστημα οπτικής υπόδειξης της προς χορήγηση φαρμακευτικής αγωγής, μια περιφερειακή συσκευή υπολογιστικής όρασης που επικοινωνεί με την κύρια συσκευή διανομής φαρμάκων. Σκοπός της είναι η αποστολή στιγμιότυπου του προσώπου του ασθενή προς αναγνώρισή του μέσω των βιομετρικών του χαρακτηριστικών.
