ΔΙΑΤΑΞΗ ΣΥΛΛΟΓΗΣ ΝΕΚΡΩΝ ΨΑΡΙΩΝ ΑΠΟ ΙΧΘΥΟΚΛΩΒΟΥΣ REGULATION FOR COLLECTION OF DEAD FISH FROM FISH CAGES
ΤΟ ΠΕΔΙΟ ΤΗΣ ΤΕΧΝΙΚΗΣ THE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
The invention refers to the technical field of human needs and more specifically to the field of fishing and even more specifically to the way of managing fish grown in fish cages. Specifically, it does not refer to a device used to collect dead fish from fish cages.
ΤΟ ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ ΤΗΣ ΕΦΕΥΡΕΣΕΩΣ THE HISTORY OF THE INVENTION
The device disclosed in the present invention for collecting dead fish from fish cages has not been disclosed in the prior art.
Global per capita fish consumption has doubled in the last 50 years. So the demand for this type of food has increased, while the supply has decreased, with the result that the price of "wild" fish has increased significantly. Intensive fishing worldwide has caused the disappearance or decline of up to 90% of many fish populations. Global fish farming is trying to fill this gap. Although there is continuous development in the sector, there are still areas in which improvement and modernization are required. For example, the production method of fish farming is based on the primitive method of Genetics. That is, the selection for spawner fish is done empirically. The best fish are selected for crossbreeding, but in this case the genetic material is not controlled. "Wild" sea fish are also used as spawners.
Correspondingly, mortality is collected from the fish cages in which the fish are kept. To this day, divers are used, who, alongside their other tasks, in the respective units are in charge of recording mortality and collecting dead fish. The work in question is, however, particularly tiring for a diver, as it requires a long stay underwater, resulting in a burden on the diver's health and significant exposure to a multitude of risks. For example, in an average fish farm with 16 cages, a diver may have to stay in the water from one to four hours per day and travel from 1000 to 4000 meters to perform his tasks. This puts both a strain on the diver's health while increasing costs for the fish farm. Furthermore the success of the collection relies solely on the skills and disposition of the diver, with no automated and sure way to successfully perform the collection task.
It is thus an object of the present invention to advantageously address the aforementioned disadvantages and shortcomings of the prior art by proposing a funnel for collecting dead fish from fish cages.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a device for collecting dead fish from fish cages, without requiring the assistance of divers.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a device for collecting dead fish from fish cages, which can operate automatically and without the need for divers to remain underwater.
A further object of the invention is the presentation of a device for collecting dead fish from fish cages, which can operate without time restrictions, immediately, whenever needed and without danger for its operators.
A further object of the invention is the presentation of a device for collecting dead fish from fish cages that operates under vacuum, ensuring the easy extraction of mortalities from the seabed, without disturbing the fish inside the fish cage.
These and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the following detailed description.

ΛΕΠΤΟΜΕΡΗΣ ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΤΙΜΩΜΕΝΗΣ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΗΣ DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED APPLICATION
Referring now to the accompanying drawing we will describe exemplary applications of the dead fish collection device from fish cages.
The fish cage (1), Fig. 1, is partially submerged in the body of water (2). The fish cage (1) may be made of plastic or hot-dip galvanized metal, may be circular, rectangular or of any suitable shape and has nets (3) in which the fish are trapped. To collect the mortality from the bottom, without the use of divers of course, a metal funnel (4) is placed on the bottom of the fish cage (1), which is used as a bucket for collecting the dead fish. The funnel (4) can be made of galvanized or stainless steel, with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 5 mm and is connected at an angle to the first pipe (5). The construction of the first tube (5) may be made of galvanized sheet metal, stainless steel sheet or even plastic, while its diameter ranges from Φ100 to Φ500, depending on the size of the fish being collected. Its length is indicatively stated to be 2 meters, although this is not restrictive for different lengths. In the first pipe (5) he applies a second pipe (6) of corresponding diameter up to the surface of the water. Indicatively, the second tube is made of plastic material. The second pipe (6) allows it to be easily moved within the water volume (2), so that the dead fish can be extracted to the desired point. The combination of the funnel (4), the first tube (5) and the second tube (6) is used to extract the dead fish.
To create the appropriate vacuum and drive the dead fish from the bottom to the surface of the water body (2), there is an air check valve (7) in the first pipe (5), about one meter from its connection point to the funnel (4). A hose (8) is attached to the non-return air valve (7) that extends to the surface and to the point of an air compressor (9), which is used to channel air with a pressure greater than 2 bar. In this way, the necessary negative pressure is created in the circuit that leads the dead fish through the second pipe (6) to the surface of the sea, where they are collected with a scoop.
It should be noted at this point that the description of the invention was carried out with reference to indicative application examples, to which it is not limited. Therefore, any change or modification in terms of shape, dimensions, morphology, materials used and construction and assembly components, as long as they do not constitute a new inventive step and do not contribute to the technical development of what is already known, are considered included in the aims and objectives of the present invention .
