Abstract

There is disclosed an absorption pump using electrolytes in two double-action solutions. The vapor of the solvent is successively produced by the first solution and absorbed by the second at the same pressure and a higher temperature. The solvent returns to the first solution, the second being evaporated at thigh temperature. The electrolytes increasing the tension of the solvent vapours are diluted and circularly separated in the solutions for equalizing their actions at high temperature. The absorption heat of the intermediate absorptions is recovered by the intermediate evaporations.
