Abstract

Novelty: a foldable side structure adaptable to a low-in-height trailer meant for the transport of agricultural products is disclosed. Constitution: metal hollow sections 1 interconnected with the screws 2. The whole assembly is rotable and placed, via screws 3, on the frame of the trailer 4. In the closed loading position, the invented side structure takes the place between the frame of the trailer 4 and the wheel 6 while, being secured by security pins 5 in the upright position, it guarantees the safe transport of products. The rotation of the metal hollow sections 1 enables the easy positioning of the side structure either in the loading position or in the transport position, making the respective works fast and safer; in the closed position, the side structure takes the place between the frame of the trailer 4 and the wheel 6 so that its removal is hindered while time and efforts required for the respective works are reduced.

FOLDING RAILWAY OF AGRICULTURAL PLATFORM-TRAILER

LOW ALTITUDE TRANSPORT OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

The invention refers to the construction of a folding parapet for agricultural platforms-trailers with a low height, for the transport of agricultural products, which is adapted to the right and left side of the trailer and with its function, upright in the position of transporting and moving the trailer and closed in the loading position of the trailer makes it more functional and makes loading and transport operations faster and safer.

When loading a trailer transporting agricultural products with a low height in which there was a parapet, this had to be removed in order to be able to load the trailer with agricultural products and then reposition it to make the move, which creates delay and difficulty in the loading and moving operations of the agricultural products. Also, several times there are no parapets at all on low-height agricultural product transport trailers, making both loading and transporting the products unsafe.

This invention, by its construction, minimizes these disadvantages. It allows the operator to move the parapet down (closed position) to easily and quickly place the trailer in a loading position, and by moving the parapet up (upright position) puts the trailer in a safe transport position. This ensures less effort during loading and unloading operations, shortening of the corresponding operations and the possibility of product safety during movement.

Figures 1,2,3 show the form of the folding parapet.

More specifically, the folding parapet consists of metal hollow beams (1) which are connected to each other with screws (2). This whole assembly is bolted (3) onto the frame of the agricultural trailer (4) and can be rotated to open and close as needed. In the loading position (closed position) the parapet is in the space between the trailer frame (4) and the wheel (6). In the safe transport position it is secured with safety pins (5).

The advantage of this invention is the rotation of the metal hollow beams (1) of the parapet with the screws (2) and (3) which ensures its easy placement either in the loading position (closed position), where the parapet is in the space between the frame of the trailer (4) and the wheel (6) thus ensuring that it is not removed for loading, either in a transport position (upright position) where it is secured with the safety pins (5) making the corresponding work faster and less laborious because it avoids detachment of the parapet which is heavy and its repositioning, during loading improving both the time and labor of the respective works, and making the transport operations safer as the parapets on the low height agricultural platforms were not present in most cases and when they were it was distracting me.

The folding parapet of the agricultural platform-trailer of low height for the transport of agricultural products consists of metal hollow girders (1) which are connected to each other with screws (2) . All this assembly is mounted with screws (3) on the frame of the agricultural trailer (4) and can be rotated, to open and close whenever needed. In the loading position (closed position) the parapet is located in the space between the frame of the trailer ( 4) and the wheel (6) In the position for safe transport it is secured with safety pins (5). The folding parapet of the agricultural platform-trailer of low height for the transport of agricultural products, according to claim 1, is characterized by the rotation of the metal hollow beams (1) of the parapet with the screws (2) and (3) which ensures its easy placement either in position loading (closed position) where the parapet is in the space between the frame of the trailer (4) and the wheel (6) thus ensuring that it cannot be removed for loading, or in the transport position (upright position) where it is secured with the safety pins (5 ) making the respective operations faster and less laborious because it avoids the detachment of the parapet, which is heavy, and its repositioning, during loading, improving both the time and effort of the respective operations, and makes the transport operations safer since the parapets in low-rise agricultural platforms were absent in most cases, and when present they were sporadic.
