Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε ένα οδοντικό εμφύτευμα που έχει ένα σώμα με μέσα συνδέσεως (15) για τη στερέωση του σώματος σε ένα οστό. Το σώμα έχει ένα τοίχωμα (11) γύρω από μια κοιλότητα (12) με ένα ανοικτό άκρο για να δέχεται ένα προσθετικό τμήμα (5). Το οδοντικό εμφύτευμα περιλαμβάνει τουλάχιστον ένα μέσο αγκύρωσης (21) για την αγκύρωση του οδοντικού εμφυτεύματος στο οστό, το οποίο μέσο αγκύρωσης (21) βρίσκεται μέσα σε μια αντίστοιχη οπή (31) που βρίσκεται στο τοίχωμα του εμφυτεύματος. Το μέσο αγκύρωσης (21) είναι διακριτό από το μέσο σύνδεσης (15) και είναι διαμορφωμένο έτσι ώστε να διεισδύσει και να προωθείται μέσα από την αντίστοιχη οπή εντός του οστού. Με τέτοια εμφυτεύματα, είναι δυνατόν να επιτυγχάνεται η απαιτούμενη σταθερότητα του οδοντικού εμφυτεύματος σε πρώιμο στάδιο, μετά την τοποθέτηση του εμφυτεύματος εντός του οστού και πριν την οστεοενσωμάτωση, ακόμη και κάτω από έντονη καταπόνηση κατά τη μάσηση.
