Abstract

Novelty: moving support for retaining glass panes; a uniform moving accessory placed with absolute accuracy in the right place. Constitution: a metal ring 1 and two lateral facing lamellae of arcuate form 2 incorporated at the circumference of the metal ring 1; the ends of said lamellae are spaced out to form a void space accomodating the fitting of the glass pane; an Allen-type screw 6 is located at the circumference of the ring to allow its consolidation at any point of the round-shaped column 7 traversing the internal diameter of the ring. The unidirectional lamellae 8 enable the fitting of a glass pane solely on one side of the round-shaped column. Thanks to their arcuated form, the metal lamellae are liable to retain the glass pane in a safe and stationary fixing position with no hazards posed by breakage; in parallel, strong impacts against the glass pane surface are damped due to the oscillation of the lamellae and the arcuate form thereof. A plural number of glass panes of varying sizes can be assembled and fixed on plural columns by use of multiple unidirectional or bidirectional supporting means.
