Abstract
Novelty: peripheral device connected to domestic alarm systems and aiming at fully protecting openings (doors or windows) via magnetic switches and movement-sensing elements as well as at making the alarm system more friendly to the user. Technical features: the alarm system in question supervises the magnetic switches installed on the constructions of the opening; it controls via sensors the glass pane against potential breaking; it detects the existence of external magnetic fields able to deactivate the magnetic switches; it is self-protected against potential wanton short circuit occurred in the cables of the alarm zone; it is powered by the alarm control centre and its consumption is of the order of the 300 mA; it does not demand any modification of the existing installation of the house; it is furnished with a special software programme impeding the alarm actuation from the interior of the house except in case that the glass pane is broken and intrusion is committed through the opening; prevention of false alarms occurred from the exterior of the house (e.g. thunders); it distinguishes whether a construction is opened from the interior or the exterior of the house and it modifies the conditions of alarm instigation (waiting until closure of the construction or alarm actuation in case that the opening is opened out from the exterior of the house); it permits the user to opt -with the assistance of the keyboard of the control centre- either for a smart operation as this described above or for an ordinary system prohibiting whatever manipulation of the constructions.
