Abstract

Subject: heavy item-transporting platform being equipped with a braking system consisted of two parallel wheels (5, 5’). Constitution: a firmly-configurated parallelogram-shaped framework 1, a plastic clip 11 in the form of a screw able to change the length of each side (2, 2’, 3, 4) of the platform by mere push or pull of the sections of the platform, a rectangular opening or “window” (4’, 4’’) facilitating the use of a securing and unsecuring lever (7, 7’), and the braking system (5, 5’) provided with two little plates (20, 20’) freely moving to cause the immobilisation or release of the wheels (8,8’) via the movement of the lever (7,7’). For improved immobilisation of said transporting platform, this last may have, alternatively, two arms with spring (27, 27) set around the central pin 16 of the system and between the parallel wheels 8, 8’.
