Abstract

Subject: security partition system applicable to the interior of taxi vehicles for protecting taxi drivers from criminal actions committed by passengers. Constitution: the main frame 1 supported by two adjustable side supports 2 and the peripheral elastic seal 3, the panoramic transparent surfaces 4 allowing the control of the rear passengers cabin by the taxi driver, two cushions 5 incorporated on the main frame for the protection of passengers, a 14-inch TV screen 6 set between said cushions and meant for the projection of tourist information and advertising messages, a taximeter at the top of the screen, the rotary port 7 for money transaction, the cool/warm air inlet at the lower part of the skirt 8 of the main frame 1 for passengerssitting on the rear seats, a reliable distinguished intercommunication system 9 and two central support points 10 at the main frame 1. Advantages: full security for taxi drivers against criminal actions committed by passengers sitting on the rear seats of taxis, fast and easy installation from one vehicle to another, control of the rear part of the taxi cabin, full visibility of this last by the internal mirror of the vehicle, adjustment of the driverÆs seat at desire, enhanced comfort, clear follow-up of the taximeter and synchronical emission of news broadcasting or the like through the TV screen provided.
