Abstract

Method of improvement of the rigidity through the use of the doors (1) of the vehicle as bearing elements of its frame and system for its application, that consists of systems of concave beams (13, 14 & 15) that are integrated in each door (1) of the vehicle and in the vertical elements (2) and horizontal elements (3) of the frame around the door and a control unit. The systems of concave beams (13, 14 & 15), consist of sub-systems of concave beams (16 & 17), that constitute bearing elements ofthe frame of the door (1), of the vertical elements (2) and the horizontal elements (3) of the frame, around the door, that in their operating position make the doors (1) bearing elements of the frame of the vehicle, thus improving its rigidity and its passive safety. Furthermore, the above systems of concave beams (13, 14 & 15) operate as locking mechanisms of the vehicle, abolishing the classic locks.
