Abstract

Ηλεκτρονικό ολοκληρωμένο κύκλωμα διαφορικού κατανεμημένου ταλαντωτή, που αποτελείται από το κυρίως υποκύκλωμα ταλάντωσης (1), υποκύκλωμα βρόχου ανάδρασης μεταξύ εισόδου και εξόδου (2), υποκύκλωμα μηχανισμού μεταβολής της συχνότητας (3) και υποκύκλωμα απομονωτή εξόδου (4) και μέθοδο σχεδιασμού ολοκληρωμένου κυκλώματος διαφορικού κατανεμημένου ταλαντωτή (5). Το κύκλωμα είναι σχεδιασμένο με τρόπο ώστε ο βρόχος ανάδρασης να κλείνει με την χρήση on-chip Metal Insulator Metal πυκνωτών, που επιτρέπειτην μείωση των ακροδεκτών του ταλαντωτή και τη συνεπακόλουθη μείωση της σύζευξης θορύβου με στοιχεία εκτός του ταλαντωτή. Χρησιμοποιεί μηχανισμό μεταβολής της συχνότητας, εξασφαλίζοντας γραμμική μεταβολή της συχνότητας και σταθερή τάση εξόδου σε σχέσημε την διαφορική τάση ελέγχου, που επιτρέπει σημαντική απομόνωση του ταλαντωτή από εξωτερικές παρεμβολές, επιτυγχάνοντας υψηλή ταχύτητα και συχνότηταλειτουργίας καθώς και χαμηλότερα επίπεδα θορύβου σε σύγκριση με συγκεντρωμένα κυκλώματα ταλαντωτών που υλοποιούνται σε όμοιες τεχνολογίες πυριτίου. Οταλαντωτής χρησιμοποιείται σε σύνθετα ολοκληρωμένα κυκλώματα τηλεπικοινωνιακών εφαρμογών.
