Abstract

The invention refers to a bipartite mechanical connector with two sections, male and female, that are interconnected between them laterally and they buckle-clasp by a small rotation and they can be adjusted on the edges of the pipes of rods of beamsof any shape in order to give them the potential to interconnect the edges by a simple lateral movement and rotation. Various methods and parts from various materials for inter-connection of the edges of pipes of rods of beams have been invented andalways they have been used in many applications in building structure, architecture, decoration, furniture manufacturing, hydraulics etc. such as direct screwing or by a pipe joint, clips and blades by strained screws, pressing, welding etc. The existing level of the technique has various negative characteristics such as smaller mechanical resistance to the interconnection point from the respective resistance of the interconnected sections, time-consuming procedure and special effort in order to make the interconnection, the need to specialize the persons that perform the interconnection and constant possibility for a human mistake to occur etc. By the present invention all the negative characteristics are handled in a simple manner and bythe total ensuring of stable quality of interconnection, while at the same time reduction of the final cost is also achieved many times. Indicatively, the present invention is applied in the following cases: Fabrication of space lattices combined tothe patent under the title `Variable and fixed connectors-nodes for interconnection of pipes of rods of beams for the fabrication of space lattices` (Number of Application of Letters Patent on Industrial Property Organization 20060100206 04-04-2006), interconnection of edges of pipes of rods of beams for architectural and decorative applications, as well as in furniture manufacturing, in hydraulics, in the manufacturing of assembled toys from various materials etc.
