Abstract
The invention refers to a reciprocating engine that its piston has a reverted form related to the conventional pistons of the technical level that are used in reciprocating engines. More specifically, the reciprocating engine, consisting of a crank (5) rod (4) head (6) and piston (1) is characterized by the fact that the piston has a cap type form so that it encloses a cylindrical section of the cylinder head, called cape of cylinder head (7) on the edge of which, called front of cape (77) the valves (8, 9) are based and if it exists, the sparking plug (10). The piston has sleeve (2) that surrounds, in a impermeable manner, the cape of head (7) upon the reciprocating of the piston. In this manner, between the bottom (cap) of the piston andthe front (77) of the cape of head an area of controllable increased-reduced volume is formed within which the times of a thermodynamic operation cycle are executed. A great part of the refrigeration of the sleeve of the piston is effected through aliquid coolant that removes thermal load from the internal side of the sleeve of the piston and reproduces a part of this load to the combustion cabin where it is exploited until the completion of expansion time.
