Abstract

The invention relates to the manufacture of oregano toothpicks 1 from dried stems of the oregano plant. These toothpicks naturally contain a small amount of the aroma, taste and beneficial substances of the plant of origin (oregano). They also naturally possess interesting "mechanical" properties (small diameter, durability and relative elasticity) and offer -upon minimal processing- quality, efficient and pleasant use due to the existence of oregano stems of small and varied diameters. The user chooses the diameter that best serves him while pleasant cleaning of both the interdental spaces and gums is achieved with the use of the "cleaning soles" 2, the "dynamic cleaning protuberances" 3,4 and the "soft cleaning tip" 5. When using an oregano toothpick, a transfer -from the oregano plant to the user- of substances beneficial to oral health is achieved.

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά σε οδοντογλυφίδες ρίγανης-τσάκνα ρίγανης, που κατασκευάζονται από στελέχη αποξηραμένης ρίγανης. Κατά την επεξεργασία διαμορφώνονται τα άκρα τους σε επίπεδα «πέλματα καθαρισμού», τα δε σημεία διακλάδωσης των μίσχων διαμορφώνονται σε «κόμβους δυναμικού καθαρισμού». Oι οδοντογλυφίδες παρέχουν στον χρήστη τη δυνατότητα διαμόρφωσης του εν χρήσεί «πέλματος καθαρισμού» σε «απαλό άκρο καθαρισμού». Oι πρώτες ύλες, για να μεταμορφωθούν σε οδοντογλυφίδες, επεξεργάζονται με μηχανικά ή/καί χημικά μέσα. Η συνήθης μορφή τους, είναι κυλινδρική στο μέσον, προς το άκρο μεταβάλλεται σε κωνική καί καταλήγει σε αιχμηρό άκρο. Αυτή η διαμόρφωση, δεν είναι αρκετά αποτελεσματική, επειδή η μεγάλη διάμετρός τους, δεν επιτρέπει αρκετή διείσδυση στα μεσοδόντία διαστήματα. Στην προσπάθεια του χρήστη να εισάγει την αιχμή της οδοντογλυφίδας, καταβάλλει αρκετή πίεση, με αποτέλεσμα κάποιες φορές να προκαλούνταί μίκρο-τραυματίσμοί στα ούλα, δυσφορία στον χρήστη και ημιτελής καθαρισμός. Το αντικείμενο της παρούσας εφεύρεσης, είναι η εκμετάλλευση των πλεοναζόντων στελεχών ρίγανης, κατασκευάζοντας ποιοτικές, αποτελεσματικές και επωφελείς οδοντογλυφίδες ρίγανης-τσάκνα ρίγανης, κατά βάσίν αξίοποίώντας τις φυσικές τους ιδιότητες. Ταυτόχρονα γίνεται οικονομία ενεργειακών πόρων καί προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Oι Οδοντογλυφίδες ρίγανης-τσάκνα ρίγανης, φέρουν τις χαρακτηριστικές «μηχανικές» ιδιότητες του φυτού ρίγανη, δηλαδή βολικά λεπτές, ανθεκτικές, καί ελαστικές, με ποικιλία διαμέτρων, που κυμαίνονται μεταξύ 0.70 και 1.5mm ή/καί περισσότερο ανάλογα με την ανάπτυξη του φυτού προέλευσης. Επίσης φέρουν ωφέλιμες ουσίες, ευχάριστη οσμή καί γεύση. Το εν χρήσεί άκρο, με επιλογή του χρήστη, διαμορφώνεται εύκολα με λίγες μασήσεις του άκρου, από «πέλμα καθαρισμού» σε «απαλό άκρο καθαρισμού», για ανάλαφρο καί ευχάριστο καθαρισμό δοντιών καί ούλων.
