Abstract

The invention relates to a special packaging designed for the uniform roasting of frozen pittas or the heating of pre-roasted ones. The frozen pitta is directly transported from the freezer to the oven in order to be roasted or to the microwave oven in case that the pitta is pre-roasted and needs mere heating; roasting is direct with no use of a roasting pan or removal of the invented packaging which is made either solely of paper or of paper and window made of polyester, polypropylene, cellophane or PLA.
