Abstract
Novelty: a method for the desulfurization of exhausts produced by combustion of solids and/or liquid combustibles is disclosed. Function mode: the combustion gases are conducted from the combustion place-boiler (1) through the exit (1a) to the heat exchanger (2) and there from to the first electrostatic filter (3) where the maximum rate of dust and ashes is retained. In the sequel, the mixture of the material stored in the silo (5) (lime and additional chemical and inert materials) is conducted towards the exit of the filter and the position (4) of the exhaust duct. The injection of additional chemical and inert materials in the lime is carried out in respect to the number of the existing (one or two) electrostatic filters or sack filters, in the following positions: in positions (6), (7) and (1α) or (6) and (7) or (6) and (1α) or (7) and (1α) or separately in each position in case that only one filter 3 exists; in positions (7), (6), (4) and (1α) or, alternatively, in positions (4), (1α) and (6), or (6), (4) and (7) or (4), (7) and (1α) or (4) and (7) or (4) and (6) or only in position (4), when two electrostatic filters (3), (B) are employed.
