Abstract

Novelty: a configuration method of gypsum board bevelled edges of the AK-type is disclosed. Constitution: an efficient lightweight Π-shaped metal tool 1 the vertical elements of which operate as guides, and a metal blade 3 adapted to the metal tool 1 with the assistance of a detachable metal element 2 and three metal screws 4. Technical features & configuration mode: the invented configuration tool is characterised in that it embraces the ends of the gypsum board so that they can accurately be adapted between the guides, reach the horizontal section of the metal element 1 and be cut out lengthwise, with one movement, in accurate length, width and thickness by the metal blade 3, covering paper and part of the gypsum being thus removed. Then, the paper-free bevelled edges are coated with paper glue solidifying and, thereby, protecting the gypsum from decay and facilitating the impeccable adhesion of the gypsum board paper tape. Advantages: configuration of integrally configurated AK-type bevelled edges which are analogous to those supplied by related gypsum board production factories. Fast, cheaper, practical and aesthetically perfect assembly of the gypsum boards.
