Abstract
The invention relates to a method designed for the boron removal from water through modification of the molecular and structural type of the boron the values of which will attain the allowed limits characterizing the potable water. More specifically, boron removal is ensured by addition of alkali or acid reactors serving for the creation of a mixture containing boron in the form of precipitation separated and removed while the overlying water is conducted to a multi-layered bed for being filtered. No pretreatment is required for the removal of bacteria, suspended solids and salts; boron is directly removed from water with constant results, no matter the water pH value could be.
