Abstract
A mechanism which comprises a central four-part shaft, the parts being configured so that during operation of the mechanism in contact with two oscillating rings on both sides of the said shaft, a smooth and safe engagement/disengagement of the mechanism is achieved, and wherein the said two rings in contact with the respective two components of the power output shafts oscillate under rotation and wherein two suitably configured surfaces on the said components in cooperation with the respective surfaces of the two rings provide high torque to the differential mechanism for easy disengagement thereof.
