Abstract

The present invention relates to a solid controlled-release pharmaceutical composition for oral administration containing a therapeutically effective amount of a non-ergoline agonist of dopamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, derivative or polymorph thereof, characterized in that it contains an effective amount of at least one excipient selected from a non-swellable agent, a gelation agent and an amphiphilic substance. Also, a method for preparing the said composition is provided.
