Abstract

Novelty: Method for the preparation of ready-to-use cool asphalt destined for the repair of road surfaces. Production phases: 1) use of an automated machine electronically controlling to a nicety the quantity of materials-components required for the production of the repairing asphalt admixture; 2) use of SOLBIT asphalt solution (6 percent) which is a mixture composed of common asphalt (78 percent) of the 50/70 type, of white spirit (20 percent) and of a non-hydrophylous stabilizer (GRIPPER L) (2 percent) serving as an agent enhancing the adhesion of the cool repairing asphalt admixture; 3) addition of inert materialsfeaturing a granularity analysis as referred in the description.
