Abstract

Novelty: small-sized gas cylinder equipped with a safety valve and meant for the storage of liquid gas (butane or propane-LPG). Constitution: the cylinder 30 destined for the storage of the gas and the safety valve 10 comprising the plug 40 adapted in the sleeve 1 having two coaxial almost cylindrical walls 12 and 13 respectively: the first wall is located almost inside the cylindrical area defined by the second wall; a thread 15 exists at the first wall 12 to accommodate the application of the combustion device 70; at the second wall 13, there are projections 35 extending inside the cylindrical area defined by the second wall; the plug 40 has a non-planar peripheral base 44 cooperating with the projections 35 encountered at the second wall 13 while a channel 31 is shaped at the second wall. The plug 40 covers and protects the thread 15 of the valve from potential impacts and the valve itself from foreign elements (dust, water, oils etc) able to potentially block up the orifice of the valve and affect its right operation.
