Abstract

Novelty: Mechanism with a base for the rotation of a roasting spit placed in elegant roasters. Constitution: The base (1) whereon there are fixed the perpendicularly positioned helical screws (2, 3, 4) rotating onto seats (7) via the gears (8); metal housings (6) placed at the exterior of the screws and bearing apertures assisting the adaptation of the helical gear (9) of the spit to the helical screw; the electromotor (10), the chain gears (12, 13, 14) and the chain (15) enabling the turning motion of the screws (2, 3, 4); apertures for the reception of the screw-and-nut assembly (17, 18) are opened at the assembly side of the mechanism (B-ΔΕ) or (Β-ΑΡ) with the base (Α-ΔΕ) or (Α-ΑΡ). The base of the roasting spit is composed of the open-out frame (19) at the circumference of which there are placed the anchoring means (20); at the frame (19) there are adapted columns (21, 22, 23) meant to support the roasting spits.
