Abstract
It is disclosed a system of wireless smart multi-sensors destined for the follow-up, measurement and treatment of natural sizes, which system operates in a network environment, it is provided with autonomous feeding, it requires low consumption, it can be rapidly installed, desinstalled and modified and is composed of subsystems consisted of smart multi-sensors (1), a coordinator-router (2) and a central terminal (4). Said system - upon the user's selected commands - it is in position to execute measurements of isolated or combined natural sizes via auxiliary sensors (15, 16, 17, 6), with possibility of selecting time, range and kind of measurements, calculating and processing values via the microprocessor (5), storing up the measurement data on an external memory (9) and wirelessly transmitting the data through a wireless ZigBee protocol transceiver (28) to a data coordinator/router subsequently transmitting said data either wirelessly through the WiFi transceiver (32) or through the Ethernet port (36) (wired transmission) or the RS 232 port (37) to a central computer for further management. The wireless communication between wireless multi-sensors and coordinator is realised via the ZigBee protocol (norm 802.15.4) while the wireless communication between coordinator and central computer is established via Wi Fi, 802.11b/g. In parallel, the communication between the coordinator and the central computer is feasible via wired Ethernet connection and via GPRS modem in the case of remote central computer.
