Abstract

Subject: Cover for catapults Purpose: Used particularly in covering the underground engine room of swimming pools. Constitution: The base (1) installed at the periphery of the opening of the catapult the external appearance of which is a frame filled with the conventional filling material of the floor of the ambient space, and the pivoting cover (2) connected to the base (1) via a pair of pivoting articulation elements (10, 11) and a pair of shock absorber elements (3) connected to the base (1) and the cover (2) via pivoting articulation arrangements (12, 13, 14) operating in common with said shock absorber elements (3) with the purpose of causing the return of the open cover (2) at a predefined opening angle with respect to the base (1). Furthermore said cover comprises an arrangement of electrically-operated shock absorber (4) furnished with motor (9) assisting the shock absorber (4) in opening out the cover (2) at the predefined opening angle as to the base (1), said opening being defined by the aforementioned pair of shock absorber elements (3).
