Abstract

Πρόκειται για πολυκεφαλή του κατσαβιδιού που αποτελείται από μεταλλικό περίβλημα το οποίο περικλείει πολλαπλές, εφαπτόμιενες και παράλληλες (μεταξύ τους και ως προς τον άξονα του κατσαβιδιού) ράβδους οι οποίες μπορούν να ολισθαίνουν ανάλογα με την πίεση που τους ασκείται έτσι ώστε όταν κάποιο αντικείμενο όπως η κεφαλή της βίδας τις πιέσει, οι ράβδοι να υποχωρούν ή προεξέχουν ανάλογα με το σχήμα και την μορφή της κεφαλής της βίδας με τέτοιο τρόπο που να σχηματίζεται το ανάγλυφο αντίγραφο της κεφαλής της βίδας και με την στροφή δεξιά ή αριστερά να επιτυγχάνεται βίδωμα ή ξεβίδωμα της βίδας. Το πλεονέκτημα αυτής της εφεύρεσης είναι ότι δεν απαιτούνται πολλά διαφορετικά κατσαβίδια αλλά με μόνο την Πολυκεφαλή κατσαβιδιού μπορεί κανείς να βιδώσει κάθε τύπο βίδας, κάθε σχήμα βίδας και κάθε τύπο κεφαλής βίδας.
