Abstract

Τα δορυφορικά μη επανδρωμένα τουριστικά γραφεία (POS), αποτελούν ένα δίκτυο σημείων προσφοράς ταξιδιωτικών υπηρεσιών από τεχνολογικά προηγμένα μηχανικά συστήματα (παρεμφερή εξωτερικά με ATM), τα οποία θα ευρίσκονται εγκατεστημένα σε κεντρικά σημεία, θα λειτουργούν καθ' όλο το εικοσιτετράωρο και θα προσφέρουν στο κοινό παντός είδους τουριστικές υπηρεσίες και πληροφορίες. Οι πληροφορίες αυτές θα συλλέγονται από το internet και με τη διαδικασία των htmls, θα συγκεντρώνονται σε έναν κεντρικό server, ο οποίος θα ευρίσκεται σε ένα Κεντρικό Γραφείο Γενικού Τουρισμού (C-POS) και από εκεί, με την κατάλληλη διαχείριση, θα διοχετεύονται στο δίκτυο των POS. Σε κάθε POS θα υπάρχει ένα τερματικό (ηλεκτρονικός υπολογιστής), μέσω του οποίου κάθε χρήστης, χρησιμοποιώντας το εύχρηστο και φιλικό προς το χρήστη λειτουργικό σύστημα των windows, θα έχει, σε πραγματικό χρόνο, πρόσβαση στο σύνολο των συγκεντρωθεισών πληροφοριών, ούτως ώστε να δύναται να ελέγξει τις επιθυμητές διαθεσιμότητες και μέσα από το σύνολο των πληροφοριών, να πραγματοποιήσει την κράτηση που επιθυμεί στο όνομα του.
