Abstract
The herein disclosed rotary airfoil is a system composed of a steady construction, a cylindrical moving construction 2 rotating around the steady one 1 and resting on rollers 3, a sail-supporting base 4 and a airfoil 5. It is characterised by a control mechanism 8, an arm 6, a holding point 7 retaining the airfoil at a constant distance from the cylindrical rotating construction 9, a power transmitting system 10 and transmission of the rotary movement.
