Abstract

Whatever diamondiferous wire bearing diamond beads of equal diameter (beads of great initial diameter, fig, 1, 2) may convert into a three-action diamondiferous wire (fig.2) upon partial replacement of these beads with reinforced beads of smaller diameter (4% thereabouts) (B1, fig. 2) placed at analogous selected positions with respect to the desired increase of the speed of the wire. The three actions, which are applicable to any diamondiferous wire, are part of the same method and make useof the same assembling materials (fig. A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7). Fist action: after conversion, increased speed and thereby lesser friction are obtained due to the fact that lesser diamondiferous beads get in contact with the material to be cut (fig.1 2). Second action: the worn-out diamondiferous beads (fig. 1, 2) attaining the diameter of the small-diameter beads (B1, fig 21) get in contact with the material to be cut (fig. 3 =1) what conducts to the retardment of the strong wear as well as to a minor reduction of speed. Third action: prolongation of the wire efficiency at the phase where the wire is running at great speed due to the progressive minimization of the diameter of the beads (fig.4, ); this is what incites the increase of the medium cutting speed not affecting the efficiency of the diamondiferous wire. Advantage: speed increase exceeding the 20% of the medium cutting speed of any kind of wire the efficiency of which is conserved after application of the described herein conversion.
