Abstract

The present invention refers to the development of novel, aminomethylated copolymers of polystyrene with divinylbenzene which are gradually aminomethylated groups from the center of the polymer beads to their surface, with less aminomethylated groups in the center of the polymer beads and more in their surface. The new resins, are characterized of low cost, controlled substitution, and can be made with relative ease in a short period of time. The new resins are suitable supports for solid phasepeptide synthesis and in general for solid phase peptide synthesis and in general for solid phase organic synthesis.
