Abstract

The invention relates to hip endoprostheses used in total hip arthroplasty. In the cases of physiological anatomical damages of the hip, the intervention does not present particular surgery difficulties. However, any deviation from the normal bone anatomy increases the difficulty in endoprosthesis implantation. According to the invention that relates to an articulate endoprosthesis consisting of two parts being inserted independently and reconnected, easy insertion of the endoprosthesis in the lumen of the femoral bone, flexibility in finding the anteversion that determines the orientation of the femoral bone, suitable neck length and inclination that determines the distance between pelvis and femoral bone, fixation with the maximum possible contact area between bone-endoprosthesis for successful load bearing, are obtained. Main use of the flexible articulate endoprosthesis is its implantation during total hip arthroplasty operations and at respective cases of other body joints, such as knee, scapula etc.
