Abstract

t is disclosed a metal dividable wax casting mould for use in jewelry and dental laboratory technology. It is made of an aluminium or bronze or aluminium alloy, and has for essential component parts: the female-type sockets and the corresponding male-type protuberances where the pieces (1) snap, the print cavity designed to receive the liquid wax (2), the wax input of the matrix (3) and the body of the mould (4). Compared to the existing casting technique, the invention presents many advantages. The defective pieces are reduced at a rate of 0,2% (1/500 pieces), and the casting into a metal mould, as that of the invention, features: a) excellent quality of the final piece with no addition of powder or oil; b) direct construction of the mould with no need of an original mould; c) in case that the product implies the existence of stones, the metal moulds are constructed in such a way as to bear in advance the ornamental stones; d) each mould is composed of two or several sections co-operating at the print cavity point, but also at the points where the one section fits into another for being centralized.
