Abstract

his invention relates to a method for the limitation of toxic acidic emissions of industrial installations. According to this method, an barrier (umbrella) of sprayed water soluble magnesium additive is formed at the top of the stoker of each industrial installation. For the creation of the barrier (umbrella) , suitable spraying elements are used, made of cobalt steel, fitted into the main part of the stoker. Spraying is achieved by applying high pressure on the diluted water soluble magnesium additive and the assistance of compressed air. The spraying elements are distributed at the perimeter of the stoker so that a complete barrier (umbrella) is formed across all the cross section of the stoker. The dilution of the water soluble additive in water is effected in the mixing collector; the diluted in water organometallic magnesium additive is transported to each spraying element under constant pressure via a tube network and high or medium pressure pumps with suitable distributors, isolation valves, one-way valves, flowmeters, etc. The supply to each spraying element is constant and independent adjustment from point to point is provided.
