Abstract

System of reflectors and base of a parabolic fluorescent lightning unit for collecting and guiding the light aiming at improving the illumination efficiency, simultaneously reducing the reduction of the cost of manufacture. In the base (1) for the support of the electrical parts of the parabolic lightning unit, two of the four lateral sides are made from separate plastic parts (6) which are assembled in an easy manner by fastening them onto the main body (5) of the iron sheet of the base (1). The plastic sides (6) of the base (1) bear special incisions and protrusions (11, 12) which permit the retention of a grid of parabolic reflectors (2, 3) which is divisible and consists of two separate parts. One is the principal parabolic elements (2) for guiding the light, placed under the fluorescent lamps (4) and the other is the upper grid (3) which can be detached from the lightning unit independently of the principal parabolic elements (2). Thus, the principal parabolic elements (2) do not need to feature openings along the lamps (4) and their continuous parabolic shape significantly improves the illumination efficiency of the parabolic lightning unit.
