Hydraulic fire-fighting system used permanently in forests and rural regions. To the water, which constitutes the main fire-extinguishing material, other possible materials of the same sort can be added. It comprises pipes of great length which are fitted with gate-towers provided with wide-range water lunchers, and electric valves aiming at choosing the area to be extinguished, in relation to the fire centre. The operational autonomy of said system as regards the water supply is ensured by high-capacity water cisterns and the possibility of exploiting local natural water sources. The constructional arrangement makes the hydraulic system in question be capable of meeting the particular requirements of the area to be protected; it readily creates fire-fighting and-extinguishing zone, it is recommended for protecting remote regions and settlements from fire, and it can be used as an irrigation system for rural regions, or as a system which, being adequately modified, is able to supply water to cattle-breeding units.
