Abstract

The electronic cork for fishing is composed of two separate parts: the ON-OFF signal transmitter (1) covering a range of 20-30m, and a flotting water-proof cork-shaped construction equipped internally with a signal receiver (3) and a clamp. The signal transmitter actuates the clamp-type electromagnet (4) or any other same-type system so that the orifice opens to allow the line pass through and come down to a prefered depth with the help of the sinker provided. The said system can be used as a fly rod furnished with an electronic cork which, being placed at a long distance from the ground and at a variable depth, obviates the line entanglement during the retrieval thereof.
