  • Biological Treatment Of Waste Water (AREA)

Abstract

A plurality of rotating biological disks placed onto tractors ,fixed on a shaft and forming therewith groups of different dimensions (diameter, length); these groups of disks constitute the "biocylinder" which, turning with the help of the electroreducer, is designed to be placed into the aeration tanks of the installations destined for the sewage or industrial waste treatment. By combining a single piece with other similar pieces, we obtain biocylinders which are different in diameter, length, constant distance, and have the greatest biological surface. The invention is applicable to installations for sewage and industrial waste treatment.
