Μηχανή εσωτερικής καύσης όπου δύο κυλινδροκεφαλές τροφοδοτούν ένα θάλαμο καύσης (Σχέδιο 6.1) (12). Μέσα στο θάλαμο καύσης το έμβολο-στοιχείο (2,3,4) εκτελεί παλινδρομική και ημιπεριστροφική κίνηση και μ'αυτόν τον τρόπο "παίζει" το ρόλο δύο κυλίνδρων. με την κίνησή του και μέσω κυλίνδρου (19) που ολισθαίνει στο σύστημα μετάδοσης της κίνησης στον στρόφαλοφόρο άξονα (15), εξαναγκάζει το σύστημα ελέγχου στροφάλου (16) σε παλινδρομική κίνηση. Στο σύστημα αυτό υπάρχει κύλινδρος (17) ανάλογος του στροφάλου (8) σε μάζα, που ολισθαίνει σε υποδοχή στο σύστημα (16) και συνδέεται με τον στρόφαλο (8). Με την κίνηση του συστήματος (16) ανάμεσα στον στρόφαλο (8) ο κύλινδρος (17) εξαναγκάζει το στρόφαλο σε περιστροφή, ενώ ο κύλινδρος (17) περιστρέφεται αντίστροφα.
