Abstract
A method for electrochemical enrichment of low quality raw manganese provides electrochemical discharge of raw material by electrolysis with indirect electrochemical reduction of raw MnO2 and parallel reduction of Fe3+ to Fe2+ ions in the electrolyzer by electrolytic manganese diode at the anode – electrosynthesis; in addition, usage of large electrolyzer, and the electrode passing through the carbon cage is taken as a cathode. The concentration of iron ions in the solution is 1.5-2.5 g/l, and the solution passed through the cathode is delivered from the electrolyzer to the accumulation of raw manganese, and the solution obtained by leaching into the mass is returned to the anodic area of electrolyzer without filtering.
