Abstract

A hydroelectric power plant comprises an upper basin 12 with a vertical head conduit 13, a turbine-driven generator 17 and 18 installed above a lower basin 16, a water pump 23, a wind plant, a high-pressure chamber 1 with a sealed head basin 2, a turbine-driven generator 19 and 20 installed above the upper basin 12. The upper part of a head conduit 22 having a flap 21 is connected with the turbine of the turbine-driven generator, while its lower end is connected with the head basin 2 connected to a head conduit 27 of the wate pump 23. The head basin is provided with a conduit 10 having a flap 11 for filling it with water, water level gauge 3, and a pressure-gauge 4, and the high-pressure chamber is connected with a flask 5 equipped with a manometer gauge 9 via a head conduit 6 having regulating valves 7 and 8. Inner diameters of intake 25 and draft 27 conduits of the hydroelectric power plant are equal.
