997,192. Cooling animal and vegetable substances. E. HENSEN. June 6, 1961, No. 46756/64. Divided out of 997,191. Heading F4H. [Also in Division B8] Animal or vegetable foodstuffs, e.g. fish, are packed into a frame 3 of corrugated cardboard, which rests on a loose sheet 5 on a tray (not shown), and are covered with a further loose sheet 4, the tray supporting the package being then inserted between the cooling plates of a refrigerator or into a wind tunnel to freeze the package. The inner and outer sides of the sheets 4 and 5 of the frame 3 are covered with sheets of paper having coatings of a moisture impervious synthetic plastics or resinous material as indicated at 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b. Alternatively, the frame 3 and sheets 4 and 5 are coated directly with such material or with a varnish.
