A building element comprises the whole or half of a solid body having two recesses and fourteen surfaces and having a shape forming part of a tetrahedron. Fig. 2 illustrates the form of a pair of such elements within the shape of an isosceles-triangle faced tetrahedron. The faces f are midway between the ends a, while faces g are at a distance a/5 from the nearest end a. Channels s are provided having a depth corresponding to the length b divided by 5.
