994,722. Liquid blast switches. SOC. ANON. DE PARTICIPATION'S APPAREILLAGE GARDY. May 8, 1963 [May 2, 1963], No. 18265/63. Heading H2B. A polyphase liquid-blast circuit-breaker has a case of moulded resin with a plurality of cavities 4a, 4b, 4c, arranged at the corners of a regular polygon, into which are inserted the individual arc-extinguishing chambers 11 comprising alternate axial evacuation chambers 18a, 18b and lateral evacuation chambers 21a, 21b, 21c venting into chimneys 5a, 5b, 6a. The breaker is actuated through gearing by an electric motor or a handle (Fig. 1, not shown) a dashpot 44 being provided.
